Have you ever thought that some of the suffering we experience in life is due to living with a mind state filled with low expectations? If we expected more from ourselves we would have a thought process that could lead to more success. If a human being thinks that they are average, they will (more than likely) produce an average life for themselves. Sadly there are individuals who are highly intelligent and gifted but do not use what they have been blessed with. These individuals only expect minimal or average success for themselves. They cannot conceive or envision massive success for themselves because the expectations they have for themselves are extremely too low. The real quest in life is to permanently rise above low expectations. We can learn how to rise above low expectations with a shift in our thinking.

Many times the expectations we have are transmitted to us by family, friends, and even foes. They really only exist in the form of vibrations passed on to us mentally. They are not supreme law that we must obey. Their ideas are only the confident expression of opinions, not necessarily facts. Another human being cannot tell you how far you can go in life.

Regardless of what conditions we are surrounded by, our expectations determine how far we push ourselves in life. Mentally it takes the same energy to focus our minds on lower expectations as it does to have higher aspirations in life. I personally would rather focus on the highest expectations and back it up with great planning and massive action. If we are above ground and breathing we should attempt to go for the highest since it would only take a shift in consciousness to do so. Sometimes we are afraid to set ourselves up for failure by stretching ourselves beyond our normal everyday comfort zones. A daily routine can make life smooth and easily very predictable. To realize a goal or create a major shift in our lives is going to require that we lift our expectations to a higher level.

You and I may be the only individuals who believe that this change could be possible for us. It is our right and job to create a path that helps us realize a higher set of expectations. We have to be able to see the path in the darkness until the road is eventually lit up with mental and visual high beams. Don’t be surprised if you are the only one who believes your higher expectation are even possible. With the acquisition of a much higher expectation of ourselves, we are operating outside of the normal comfort zones we have grown accustomed to.

When you read some of the articles about the late APPLE founder Steve Jobs your hear that a major component of his success was a thought process he called “The Reality Distortion Field”. In order to create the innovative, magnetic, quality products that have put APPLE in the forefront of sales and technology, Steve and his colleagues had to bend reality so that it fit what he was looking for in terms of the final outcome. He had to push himself, and his colleagues, beyond what was currently possible into the realm of so called impossibility and bring that vision and product into reality. Steve Jobs had to push himself and his company outside of their perceived comfort zones in order to create products that completely “wow” us.

In order to lift our expectations to a higher level we will be required to rise beyond our comfort zone, distort reality and recreate it according to our liking. It will just require an extreme internal push that makes us change ourselves to such a degree that we cannot ever return to be the individuals we once were. We would have to completely distort reality to create a bright new future for ourselves. Expanding our minds with faith will light up the road we are traveling on. Lifting our expectations to a higher level maybe the missing ingredient we have been looking for and did not even know it.

How can you be centered if your focus is always external. Especially if your focus is on all of the scenes that pass before your eyes on a daily and momentary basis. If the energy and frequency of the people, places, things and events on the external we focus on are negative, that is what we will become. Whatever we are fascinated with or pay attention to intensely is what we will become. The sounds and images that enter into our eyes and ears through repetition end up traveling to our innermost being. An individual will never be centered if their main focus is on external events.

In a society where we are literally taught to grasp and seek most things that are external, it is difficult to imagine being centered within. To be centered means that one should have a measure of inner peace and be focused within. Positive, powerful words positioned in the present moment can take a persons consciousness and center it within. The proper use of Words and Thoughts is the best kept secret on the planet. Words have the power to completely shape the mind and the subconscious reality of the human being. Words that are positive and crafted properly can shape the frequency of the human body. Whatever words we ingest by repetition end up becoming the events we will eventually encounter. Words enter our mind and consciousness from the outside and can shape and center the mind and consciousness on the inside. The proper use of Words is a powerful way to stay centered.

There is another phenomenal way to center your mind that has been in existence for thousands of years. From Egypt, India, China and around the Planet it has been the most consistent way to center the mind and connect to your inner divinity. The best way to stay centered has been closely associated with Yoga and is an integral part of all true Martial Art practices. Meditation is a proven way to center your mind and consciousness. Meditation is a path to inner peace. Here are some of the positive benefits of Meditation as presented in the book “Creating Affluence” by Deepak Chopra:

“Meditation has been part of the spiritual tradition of almost every culture. My own experiences come from the regular practice of Transcendental Meditation”

“There are a number of scientific studies that show the beneficial effects of Meditating. Blood pressure comes down. Stress is alleviated. Basal metabolic rate goes down. Insomnia, anxiety, and a number of psychosomatic disorders are relieved and disappear. More over there is increased brainwave coherence, which also improves attention span, creativity, learning ability and memory retrieval. Also the effects of Meditation last into our daily activity and soon our activity becomes saturated and influenced by the qualities of the unified field.”

All of the qualities and effects that meditation produces are how an individual can get centered. Do the research for yourself. Always go with the information that is quality and easy to understand at the same time. Complicated texts only slow down the learning process. If the practice of meditation resonates with you, begin to try it. I have seen its results firsthand. The answer to, How To Stay Centered is right within us. There are so many studies which hail the mental and health benefits of meditation. As you do the research in how to actually meditate for yourself you will see firsthand, how to stay centered. It may just be your time to be centered and at peace.

Some of us really think we can claim complete ownership of the things we possess in our time on earth. There are some of us who depend on the comfort material items give to us. Others of us judge individuals based on the quantity & quality of material items they possess. There is nothing wrong with possessing material items in abundance. Having the proper items around us can actually make life more comfortable for us. We must remember that we only use material things, while we are living.

I find nothing wrong with having the best of the best in our midst perpetually. We just have to try to look at things from the proper perspective. We only use material items while we are here and cannot take them with us. Since that is the case we had better use them with all of our might. They will never be attached to us for all eternity. We have to just make sure that material items do not give us stature or even make us happy. You want to have the beautiful, sparkling, and entertaining items around you, without depending on them for your self worth. Technically we are worth more than all materials because we have been blessed with the almighty power of Vision and Thought which has the power to transform into the things we focus on. Vision and Thought are the real jewels to possess in life. We only use materials things, yet they have no real lasting power.

If we could just recognize that we are just the users in life, we would not get overly attached to material things. As beautiful as these items are, we will not be able to take them with us when we leave this earth realm. These items are like books that we take out of the library that will eventually have to be returned. That is the perspective that can help keep our mental (egos) in check. No matter how much we enjoy the things we own or use, they are only temporary companions that will assist us in our journey through life. They are meaningful, but not eternal and timeless. They are to be cherished but not worshiped. The realization that we will only use the material things we have to the fullest, but never own them permanently must become self evident. It would be great to create a relationship with material items where they are not the End All, Be All in our lives. We would cherish our lives and all aspects contained within it, if we knew that it was slowly passing before our eyes. We would have more appreciation for life. We only use and borrow the things we think we will own forever.

Nothing can stop the creation of good music. Radio stations (at this point) will not create the renaissance in music that people are waiting for. The best music that will ever be created is waiting to be received by current and future composers. If the antenna (mind) can tap into the signal and freely receive it, the idea can spring forth. The beat goes on forever because the music really does not get stagnant. It is the lack of mental receivers that can tap into the signal trying to reach them constantly. The music is waiting for a composer to translate the signal into reality.

The beat goes on forever because there are rhythms, harmonies, and melodies that are yet to be discovered. No matter how many songs are dumped online weekly, there are timeless eternal classics to come forth that will change the course of music history. To think that the quality of music will remain in an eternal slump is ridiculous.

I believe that it does not matter how much technology is imposed on the composer of today. If your heart and mind is sincere, you will be able to translate the feeling of great music to the consumer. The charisma of the musician can be translated to the listening audience even through the use of digital equipment and synthesizers. Nothing can stop music that comes from a dramatic, sincere, heartfelt and emotional place. If the music can send an emotional spark to the inner heart and make you actually and literally feel something, it cannot be stopped.

The beat goes on forever when the magic of song creation is duplicated continuously from a sincere place. When a song reaches out and touches the soul and feelings very deeply it will not soon be forgotten. The beat goes on forever because we can feel mentally ecstatic when a song touches us beyond our ability to control our feelings about it. The songs that are “forever” hits touch us beyond time and space. The greatest songs are blessings from a divine place delivered through the human being. There needs to be a rebirth in music and the time for it is now. The composers who are going to make sure the beat goes on forever, will be the receivers of the musical signals that will spark a musical revolution online through your Smartphone, Tablet and Ipod. We will have to spread the word when we hear great music like this because the days of waiting for radio to play it are over. We the listening public have the power to support and determine which songs will reign in the future. We will have to sift through the filler and reward the musical jewels we find by sharing them with no shame to all.

There are many powerful effects that the mineral Phosphorus has on the human body. I have shared information on vitamins in the past and now we will embrace our first mineral. The all natural food sources that contain Phosphorus will be presented in this post as well. Knowing where to tap into a minerals natural food source as well as through the tablet form is an important task. We can watch the news morning, noon, & night and only receive a quick sound bite on what vitamins and minerals are important for our well being. The information provided below is from the “Nutritional Awareness Guide by Legion of Light”.

The amazing effects Phosphorus has on the body are as follows:

Phosphorus:

“Nourishes the brain. Stimulates the intellect. Agent for growth and life. Affects muscle tissue. Essential for the production of body energy. Improves nerve nutrition. Aids regular heartbeat and normal kidney function. Builds healthy bones and teeth. Necessary for reproduction. Aids in the metabolism of calcium. Important in the utilization of carbohydrates, fats and protein. Contributes to idealistic tendencies such as humanitarianism.”

The natural food sources that contain Phosphorus include:

Alfalfa sprouts, Almonds, Apricot, Banana, Bee Pollen, Beet Greens, Cabbage, Celery, Coconut, Corn, Dates, Dulse, Fruit (Dried), Grains, Garlic, Kale, Kelp, Lentils, Nuts, Oats, Onion, Parsley, Peas, Pistachio Nuts, Potato, Raisins, Rice (Brown, Wild), Seeds, Spirulina, Sprouts, Swiss Chard, Watercress, Wheatgerm and Wheat grass.

Phosphorus the mineral that “nourishes the brain and stimulates the intellect” comes within the structure of foods that are common yet simple. You and I have to fight for the nutrients we want to see reflected within the functioning of our bodies by selecting the right foods. It will not be advertised on the television for you. Society expects you to be healthy without giving you the knowledge. It is our obligation and right to seek out the information we need for the betterment of our lives.

When a cars speed is accelerating from zero it steadily builds momentum until it reaches 55 to 60 miles per hour and begins to cruise. Once we begin to build the proper momentum in the continuous executing of a given task we begin to cruise to where it becomes effortless. When we have that kind of effortless grace and poise when executing a once difficult task we can be sure we are gradually giving birth to mastery.

Building momentum comes from starting in the beginning when the task is new and your execution of it is unsure, unsteady and shaky at best. Imagine a little baby struggling to walk. The baby has to go through different levels of struggle in order to be able to walk erect and confident. When an adult walks he or she is cruising, while walking and maneuvering with no special thought focused on their movements.

Momentum is the key to creating success for the future events unfolding before our eyes. If we do not build momentum concerning the actions we are executing there never will come the time when we will cruise into the realm of effortless ease. Struggle will lead to mastery which will eventually grow into ease of execution. For some tasks it may take months or even years of practice to acquire the state of cruise control that we would desire. When a plane takes off and rises above the clouds there are no storms, just sunshine. That is also the point in which the pilot allows the passengers to take off their seat belts and move around the cabin. The plane had to build momentum and speed in order to operate above the clouds where it rose above the weather conditions below.

If you subtract the consistency of momentum from our lives we will see that without it, we will not master many of our chosen skill sets. Momentum is the engine behind the handling and mastering of tasks that are very important to our lives and existence. If we have built momentum in any skill, task, or talent, we have effectively flexed our mental or physical muscles in a way that cellular memory has been created and implanted within us. When a human being has arrived at a Landmark in their development and has developed a momentum that has reached a fever pitch where they can operate completely within the Zone. Momentum makes the Zone easier to get in, and generate at will. When all of your skills and talents are outgrowths of the development of momentum how could you be stopped? You would be effortless ease in motion!

Even if you and I are not being recognized for the great things we are striving to be in life, we need to remember that the cream always rises to the top. I truly believe that all of the things we are doing behind the scenes are seeds we are planting which will grow up into the tree of our manifested goals. Everyone who is great has had to plant the seeds of: burning the midnight oil, unrewarded efforts, and striving with all of our might and the results end up being Failure (on the surface). But what if all of our unrewarded efforts are similar to a violinist practicing their craft, learning through mistakes as they gradually and unkowingly become a master. The mistakes and hardships are like a school that we have to graduate from, so we can see in the end that the cream always rises to the top.

There is a time when we are in an imaginal waiting period in our lives. A time when we think we are suffering, can be the training ground for our future destiny. The suffering and trials are the practice we need to be able to identify the proper keys to compose the master melodies for success. The trials and suffering can really throw our lives into a complete tailspin. No matter how much a pilot in training uses a simulator to practice, it is only when operating a real plane can they gather a true flying experience. The possibility of dying if a wrong maneuver is made will produce an alert focused mindstate that practicing with a simulator will not generate.

A human being who is forced to go up against extreme resistance will have to come up with moves (mentally & physically) that will completely defeat and outwit all kinds of friction if they want to be successful. Sometimes it is necessary that we use mental muscles we have not used before, so they can be freed from stagnation. When our minds are free it may be possible for our mental antenna to receive a thought that can change our condition. This freedom may come with a price, paid for with some trials which are really practice for us. How many successful people are there, that have not experienced difficulties? It is the difficulties we survive and overcome that allow the cream to rise to the top.
