Different for a Reason!!
Some individuals regret being different than others in one way or the other. Many are even criticized for having personalities that seem to go against the grain of popular thought. Imagine some of the self doubt thoughts these type of criticisms have caused in some sensitive souls. There are those individuals who look at life from a totally different perspective than the average person and for a great reason. That difference or so called strangeness is their birthright especially if it is sincere and true in its expression. What if that difference of perspective is what would be absolutely necessary to create something innovative in our lives and society? If a person is born thinking and viewing life from this perspective it could very well be that they have a special destiny to fulfill. Who are we to judge? Whether it be as an: inventor, scientist, artist, architect, musician, business person, parent, teacher, mathematician, or doctor, those looking at life differently have a greater chance of creating something new and unique in their chosen field of endeavor. If all great creations large or small come from the mind state or consciousness of an individual, a person who thinks like most people would not be the innovator. It is the individual who naturally feels comfortable thinking out of the box who can make the invisible quite visible. There is nothing wrong with that, we all are important and serve our own purpose in life.
When we look at it from this perspective we will be less apt to judge those who do not think like us. Some of the greatest inventions, books or even ideas come from individuals who have a mental frequency that is either slightly or vastly different than ours. There is a saying that it is insanity to expect different results while continuing to do the same things. It is also insanity to expect society to grow where everyone thinks alike. Someone has to be a trailblazer in the realm of thought and action to bring the never before seen vision into the light of day. We will know and feel when the trailblazer is true and sincere even if we recognize it years later.
