New Movie: THE AVENGERS May 2012!
The new movie THE AVENGERS will be produced by Marvel Studios and will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. THE AVENGERS will be released on May 4, 2012. The director for THE AVENGERS is Joss Whedon who has also directed the 2005 movie SERENITY, and the year 2000 movie X-MEN. He is also slated to work on the upcoming WONDER WOMAN Movie. THE AVENGERS will be shot in 3D.
The story of THE AVENGERS involves Nick Fury who is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is a worldwide agency created to keep the peace. The character Nick Fury is played by acclaimed actor Samuel L. Jackson. The team headed by Nick Fury will include the Marvel superheroes: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, and the Black Widow. In THE AVENGERS movie there is a scenario where there is a threat of Global Security by the main arch nemesis of the movie Loki, and his companions. As this happens, it is the job of Nick Fury and his superhero team to prevent worldwide disaster.
The music for THE AVENGERS will be scored by Alan Sylvestri who has had a long and successful composing career. Alan Sylvestri has scored the movies: Captain America (2011), G.I. Joe (2009), Beowulf (2007), The Polar Express (2004), Van Helsing (2004), Lara Croft Tomb Raider (2003), Maid In Manhattan (2002), Forrest Gump (1994), and The Mummy Returns (2001). That is just to name a few of the movies he has scored in a career that dates back to 1972.
The cast of characters for THE AVENGERS include some heavy hitters, some of which are humans and others are superheros. They include:

THE AVENGERS is based on the Marvel Comics Series by Stan Lee. As stated earlier THE AVENGERS movie will be released in May 2012. With all of the characters in this film there is plenty of ammunition to create a power packed, superhero filled, action event! We will see the outcome. THE AVENGERS is coming soon!!
