One Day There Will Be Respect for Music: A Vision!
There will come a time when music will not be considered a hustle. A time when new musicians will look to the past masters with respect, not calling them old school. A time will come when formulas will not be attached to the making of music. When music has lost so much of it’s power, and technology comes before feeling, the public will yearn and seek great music. All music made for the sake of fads, self promotion, quick money, notoriety, and pure flash will fall to the wayside and will be seen for what it really is. One day the ears of the public will be fully open because of the fatigue it takes to find music that moves people with a vibration, a frequency that inspires every cell in your body. Every lyric does not have to be positive and lighthearted. The music does not have to just be commercial or party ready. But there must be a respect for music. Whether it be dramatic, intense, or cinematic, the power of the music will speak to the population of the earth for itself. Music is not just a commercial tool to be crafted and used for financial gain only.
One day there will be respect for music as a complete representation of art. It will be considered art just like: Van Gogh, Picasso, Da Vinci, and others. The artist must own their masters and copyrights to elevate to this level. Those who do great works will be sought after and extolled as masters of their craft just because respect is due to them. Mediocrity will take a seat, and true art will stand up and be counted, regardless of the budget or marketing funds behind it. One day there will be respect for the musical artist who moves the earth’s citizens with power, force, energy and passion. For this to happen there just needs to be a slight changing of the musical guards. Change is inevitable. Does this resonate with you? How do you feel?
