The Apple IPAD MINI!
The new IPAD MINI by Apple is not to be considered a complete reduction of the original IPAD. Apple is stating that the IPAD MINI will give you the same user experience as the larger original version. The IPAD MINI also is now direct competition for the various tablets that reflect its size, like the Kindle Fire. The new IPAD MINI now brings a greater sense of portable computing to the market place with the same Apple features, quality and technology. Apple has said that it has not just rushed to create a smaller tablet just for the sake of competition and money. I am pretty sure that the IPAD MINI will create the same interest as its bigger brother.
The IPAD MINI has similar quality features, specs and an amazing attention to detail as is expected from Apple products. The new IPAD MINI comes with Black, Slate, White and Silver color options. It has a height of 7.87 inches and a width of 5.3 inches, with a weight of 0.68 pound. The storage capacity for the IPAD MINI models are as follows: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. The display for the IPAD MINI allows for the user to operate all of the functions of the tablet with one hand. This brings the IPAD MINI into the realm of being a truly portable user friendly tablet. The IPAD MINI display comes as a 7.9 inch LED Back-lit, Multi Touch with a resolution of 1024 by 768 at 163 pixels per inch. Since the display is where the user will be spending most of their time, that is where Apple started in terms of the creation process of the IPAD MINI. The display at 7.9 inches had to have the same fluid, flexible yet durable feel and dependability as the larger IPAD without missing a beat.
The IPAD MINI comes loaded with a Dual Core A5 Chip to assist with processing the various functions of the Tablet. The I-Sight camera is 5 mega pixels and features: Auto Focus, Face Detection, F/2.4 Aperture, and Tap to Focus. The Video Face Time HD Camera in the IPAD MINI is 1.2 megapixels with photos and 720 pixels with HD Video. For video recording you get 1080p HD video. The IPAD MINI comes with a built in 16.3 watt hour rechargeable lithium polymer battery. This battery allows the user to use the internet while watching video or listening to music for up to 10 hours. The IPAD MINI allows the user to have access to all of the 275,000 Apps that are available with its bigger brother the IPAD. This aspect of the IPAD MINI alone allows the user to have access to all of the capabilities of the larger IPAD.
The original IPAD is the class leader in the world of tablets. Since the attention to detail and easy to use innovations have been transferred directly to the IPAD MINI we can expect this tablet version to end up being the class leader by default. This is not necessarily guaranteed, but definitely a high probability since Apple has a unique way of applying and infusing their products with their own ease of use qualities and the latest in cutting edge technology.
