Android Transformer Prime Tablet

The New Android Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is considered to be the first Supercomputer Tablet.  This is yet another reason for the tablet being an ingredient in killing the desktop PC.  The technology it contains transforms the tablet into a high powered computing system.  This tablet is the first to have a quad-core processor.  The quad-core processor has within its structure a fifth core for less taxing and intensive tasks.  This processing chip has the ability to divert background activities and other less energy taxing CPU tasks such as: syncing/updating, music/video playback to the fifth core.  This fifth core runs at 500 MHZ, which allows for saving energy overall and increasing battery life for the user.

Unlike the previous version, the Transformer Prime has a more sleak look.  It is now aluminum, much thinner and lighter.  It is even thinner than the IPAD 2 with a screen that is larger by 0.4 inches.  The screen is a super IPS+ display (at 1280 x 800) under Gorilla Glass with a 178-degree viewing angle.  The screen is much brighter than the previous version.  As a transformer you have the option of adapting this tablet to an optional keyboard which is sold separately.  The battery life is considered to be the best in the industry.  It has a life of 12 hours.  When it is connected to the keyboard dock the battery life jumps to 18 hours which is amazing. The Transformer comes with a 1.2 megapixel camera on the front of the tablet.  There is also a 8 megapixel camera on the back with a F2.4 aperture with the ability to record 1080p video.  It will come with option of 2 colors: Amethyst Gray and Champagne Gold.  The Android Prime will come 2 storage sizes: 32GB and 64GB.  The competition is on and the tablet wars continue.  This is another true reason that the Smartphone and Tablet are killing the Desktop PC.  The more powerful these tablets become the more useful they will be in areas never thought about before.  When you add the portability you will have a Supercomputer on the go when it is released.
