SKYFALL: New JAMES BOND Film
The 23rd installment of the James Bond series will be called SKYFALL. The movie will be coming to the silver screen in the U.S. on November 9th, 2012. The movie will be directed by Sam Mendes. He has also directed “American Beauty” and “Jarhead”. Daniel Craig will still take the leading role as James Bond. Other co-stars include: Judi Dench, Naomi Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Javier Bardem, Ben Whishau, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes.
SKYFALL will be filmed on location in London (in the Whitehall area). There will also be scenes filmed in: Shanghai (China), Istanbul (Turkey) and Scotland. In this film MI6 (British Intelligence) comes under attack and James Bond must find and “takeout” those who are responsible at all costs. Also Bond’s loyalty to M is tested in this installment. SKYFALL will not continue with the previous Quantam plot. It is a stand alone script. The budget for the film is $230 million. Sony Pictures and MGM will distribute the film.
