New Single: James Hamlett: THIS IS ART!

A new chapter from a book of songs is now being released.  THIS IS ART is the 3rd single release by Producer/Artist James Hamlett.  The music is composed and the lyrics are written by James as well.  The song is custom made for the listener to hear and feel that Hip-Hop music at it’s best is ART.  This is not microwave music.  THIS IS ART was created and composed for the listener to feel the music, as the lyrics create the imagery to complete the sonic package.  The sound is original and does not borrow its sound from another producers palette for formula sake.  THIS IS ART is a reminder that original music can be made that is not a carbon copy of what is now being manufactured commercially.  It is a complete custom sound for an audience that is ready, willing and able to listen to music from the soul of the artist.

James was originally going to release another single (chapter) from his book of songs.  When Ice-T (Law & Order) released the movie: “Something From Nothing The Art of Rap”, James decided to prepare the release of THIS IS ART.  The documentary movie is based on Ice-T interviewing artists and knowing that the greatest of the Hip Hop artists are very skilled and treat the creation of their music as an Art Form.  It is not just a fad.  James Hamlett had already copyrighted and mastered THIS IS ART long before the release of the movie, but felt the movie was a sign that the time was right for the release of the single.  The independent artists of today can create innovative heartfelt music that can thrill the senses and move the feet.  Hip Hop music needs to take a leap forward.  Today’s artist has all of the computer technology that was not available 15 years ago.  James Hamlett as a Producer/Artist will be releasing several new singles which will include powerful instrumentals that will unfold the feeling within his unique production style.  THIS IS ART is custom made music for the entire Globe.  Enjoy and Share!
