The Great APPLE Unveiling: IPAD 3
On March 7th 2012 Apple will be presenting the IPAD 3 with all of its new features. There will reportedly be a new version of the IPAD 2 during this APPLE unveiling. Upon the release of the original IPAD it sold close to 1 million units at the end of 1 month of its release. The sales for the IPAD grew almost exponentially so that by the end of June 2011, 25 million units were sold. There is a report that APPLE is setting the stage for the production of 65-70 million IPAD 3 displays this year. This surely will allow for a definite boost in tablet sales for APPLE.
It is rumored that the IPAD 3 will keep it’s 9.7 inch screen with the possible addition of a Retina display. The IPAD 3 is expected to have the artificial intelligence App: SIRI. The IPAD 3 would fully be able to accept voice commands with this addition. The IPAD 3 is definitely expected to be created as a 4G LTE version. Verizon and AT&T are expected to sell the new IPAD3. The storage capacity for the IPAD2 currently comes in 16gb, 32gb, 64gb versions. The new IPAD 3 may possibly have a 128gb version which would expand the storage capabilities even more. The IPAD 3 may be slated to have the Qualcom 4G LTE Gobi 4000 chip. The cameras for the tablet are expected to improve as well. The case that houses the IPAD 3 may be a bit thicker than the previous IPAD 2.
Even though much of these highly anticipated and expected features for the IPAD 3 may be speculation, the truth will be unveiled on March 7, 2012. Steve Jobs did the honors by unveiling the IPAD 2, which lead to the IPAD itself becoming an actual standard in tablet computing. The world will now see if they could improve APPLE technology and to what level without the guidance of Steve Jobs. The presentation of the IPAD 3 and quality of it as a product will help the public see if APPLE can continue with its ground breaking success without its trailblazing leader. The great unveiling of the IPAD 3 will reveal all secrets on March 7.
