CALL OF DUTY: Modern Warfare 3 – Top Sales!

The new video game CALL Of DUTY: Modern Warfare 3 has improved the franchise especially in the sales department.  Due to the anticipation of the improvements, excitement, and the realistic look of the game, users came out in abundant measure to make CALL Of DUTY the quickest selling in gaming history.  Activision Publishing has announced that CALL Of DUTY: Modern Warfare 3 has broken box office, book, and video sales records.  In only 5 days entertainment sales for it have reached over $750 million.  According to Activision Blizzard CEO Robert Kotick: “Call of Duty has become the first entertainment property in history to set five day launch records for 3 consecutive years across all forms of entertainment.”  Currently the entire CALL Of DUTY franchise has generated more than $6 billion in worldwide sales.  This game has made close to  $1 billion in 5 days.  It shows that if you have a product, business or service that is in high demand people will make sure they buy or support it.  It also shows how expansive the gaming market is right now.

The current CALL Of DUTY: Modern Warfare 3 game was developed by Infinity War and Sledgehammer Games.  Raven Software assisted in the development process.  Call Of DUTY was released in November 8th, 2011 in Europe, North America on the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, X-Box 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii.  The company behind the game, Activision has confirmed that for Mordern Warfare 3, the PC version has dedicated servers support.  With the CALL Of DUTY’s realistic graphics, soundscapes  plus effects and story lines, it can carry with it the emotional & visual impact of a blockbuster motion picture.  These are more reasons for the tremendous initial sales.
