FACEBOOK acquires mobile App corp: STROBE

The Social Media company FACEBOOK has acquired the HTML5 App distribution platform corporation STROBE.  The start-up company STROBE is known for using HTML5 to innovate Apps for various mobile phone and tablet platforms.  The STROBE team will be joining the FACEBOOK team to create innovations in the mobile phone/ tablet users Social Media experience.  Strobe’s platform assists developers in  creating HTML5 – based Web programming for desktop PC’s, tablets and last but not least smartphones.  Developers using STROBE have the ability to create any continual modifications via a central interface.  With the rise of Smartphones and Tablets FACEBOOK is definitely investing in making web browsing a higher quality viewing experience for its millions of users.

In a related matter Adobe Systems, Inc. has just announced that it will not be using its flash software format for future browsing applications which are currently in use for the development of smartphones and tablets.  Adobe has now stated that it will now increase its support and usage of HTML5 which is already fully backed by APPLE, GOOGLE and MICROSOFT products.  Adobe has stated that it will further its investment in HTML5 and focus on the use of Flash in its development of gaming and premium video service technologies.
