Do we have a personal philosophy behind our goals or daily actions?  Is there an overriding belief that guides the passions in our lives?  If not we may be missing out on a powerful mental state that would be able to inspire us under trying conditions.  Not having a personal philosophy can leave our  goals just flowing in the wind without a sail or rudder.  Our personal philosophy can give substance and purpose to our actions and give us a real reason to excel.  This philosophy gives our purpose and passion the special ingredients to make it a custom fit for our lives and the world at large.  It will be the driving force at our core that propels us forward.  Having a personal philosophy can enhance our passions for sure.

Most of the creators of specialty, exotic and unique items, whether they be art, music, fashion, automobiles, architecture and even eye wear have a profound philosophy built into the dna of those products.  The greatest and finest world class products have been created by individuals who have developed a mind state, philosophy and technique that allows for the consistent construction of masterpiece after masterpiece.  The greatest composers tend to have major philosophies as to what feelings, melodies and sounds they would like an audience to experience when hearing their music.  Some of them even go so far as to study the personal philosophy of the great musicians who came before them.  Some of the most successful fashion designers have a personal philosophy or mission statement that helps them to create clothes that tend to be an outgrowth of this belief system.  The finest automobiles on the planet are built with a philosophy that makes the builders select the finest materials, create the highest levels of performance, and quality for that vehicle.  Driving a car built with a profound personal philosophy becomes a special experience with the passion of the car builder built right into it.  The list goes on and on: Having a personal philosophy can enhance our passions and has the power to elevate common dreams to the level of uncommon manifestation.

Having a goal is great, but backed up with a powerful personal philosophy it becomes a complete driving force for the individual who is willing and able to put it into action.  Some people will have you believe that having a personal philosophy is meaningless to your success.  Your written, understood and respected personal philosophy becomes the foundation upon which your goal in life is built.  It is the point of focus that your dream or passion must always be measured by and brought back to constantly.  This personal philosophy will be the seed that will help us to create a world class life for ourselves.  There must be a reference to compare our efforts to, so that we can insure we are staying right on track.  A personal philosophy may not be all that is necessary for success, but without it we will not have that guiding force that comes in the form of a founding idea or principle so strong that it guides our mental footsteps gracefully.
