New Film: Tyler Perry: GOOD DEEDS!
The new film GOOD DEEDS directed by Tyler Perry will be coming to theater’s on February 24, 2012. GOOD DEEDS will be distributed by Lionsgate. As the lead star of this film Tyler Perry plays the character: Wesley Deeds. Wesley Deeds is a family groomed business man who has always been on the straight and narrow. At this point in his life he is running his fathers company. Wesley Deeds has been known to be very steady and predictable in his ways. All of this changes when a new cleaning lady (Lindsey) comes to work for his company. The character Lindsey is played by actress Thandie Newton. Lindsey who is quite outspoken has been removed from her home and needs a place to live. Wesley Deeds moves outside of his usual, safe and predictable habits and helps Lindsey to get her life back. Somehow Wesley’s interaction with Lindsey leads to an attraction to her. Lindsey ends up changing Wesley for the better. Some of the stars of this upcoming film include:

The Soundtrack for the film GOOD DEEDS was composed by Aaron Zigman. Aaron has also scored the films: The Notebook, Sex and the City (movie), John Q, For Colored Girls, ATL, Akeelah and the Bee, and The Ugly Truth. The cinematography for the film was done by Alexander Gruszynski. Arriflex cameras were used to film this movie. The filming location for GOOD DEEDS was of course Atlanta, GA like many Tyler Perry directed films. Tyler Perry continues to build his brand of films which tend to inspire a positive hopeful outlook on life. It is very inspiring to know that all of this is coming from a movie studio that he himself owns. It is great that he continues to broaden, diversify and expand his movie making palette.
